Izabela Acorroni

A Brazilian legal scholar who has been engaged in academic research since 2015, and dedicated to studying the intersection of law and technology since 2020. Holding both a law degree and a secondary technical education in technology, she navigates easily between legal theory and technical implementation.

Graduated with distinction from the LLM in Law and New Technologies at Birkbeck University of London, where she received the Global Futures Scholarship and the Academic Excellence Award for Best Overall Postgraduate Law Student.

• Justice systems experience: former legal consultant at a Brazilian State Court of Justice (TJMG), leading and supporting projects on technology adoption, access to justice, and service design.
• Policy-making experience: conducted research on policy-making for three years at the Legal Centre for Public Policies at Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais; participated at the Young Thinkers 2025 Training Programme at Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS).
